Last week, we announced that channel partners now have access to the Office 365 solution through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. Additionally, the Cloud Marketplace provides channel partners access to the scalable and real-time SkyKick Office 365 Migration Suite, which streamlines the sales and migration process to Office 365 for channel partners by offering them full access to project automation technology. For those who use the SkyKick Office 365 Migration Suite, benefits include the ability to automate ordering and provisioning the productivity solution, an advantage over other distributors who must manually place orders for their partners.
The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace also leverages the CSP program from Microsoft, which enables partners to directly bill, provision, manage, and support their Office 365 customers. As a result, partners can focus on offering value to their customers while expanding into new vertical and horizontal markets.
What’s New in Office 365?
For channel partners looking to sell Office 365, there are new features in addition to the above to be excited about. For example:
- Delve: For connected organizations who want to be more productive, Office 365 Delve helps them do just that. The feature allows collaborators across organizations to see what others are working on and what is trending around them, creating more organizational cohesiveness.
- Sway: Creative geeks will love Office 365 Sway, which promises to help people create and share polished, professionally designed content. For educators, Sway is a great way to create engaging and interactive presentations that add value to learning and retaining knowledge.
- Skype for Business: Microsoft Lync becomes Skype for business on Office 365. More than ever, those who collaborate can use Skype to share files, chat, and make phone calls.
- De-clutter Email: Email becomes easier to manage with the Outlook De-clutter feature, which helps users focus on the most important emails in their inbox so they can get more done.
