This week, Ingram Micro announced the availability of Workspace 365 on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace. The platform helps businesses transition their collaborative needs into the cloud, integrating web, Windows, and business applications alongside Office 365.
The availability of Workspace 365, developed by New Day at Work, is a timely technology offering, as cloud’s impact on the workplace continues to gain attention. According to research firm IDC’s sixth annual Social Business Survey, cloud is among the major technology disruptors that have intertwined with social workflow, communications, and collaboration.
“Solution providers should market their own platform instead of solely focusing on separate solutions because customers require a variety of tools for a successful cloud business. By offering a branded workspace using both web and windows apps they create a bridge to the cloud for their customers. This can bring major cost savings as they can cut away the expensive hosted desktop licenses for most employees,” stated Erik Nicolai, CEO and Founder, New Day at Work. “We’re glad to be in the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace as solution providers will be able to offer all those services within Workspace 365.”
For Ingram Micro channel partners, the launch of Workspace 365 is the dawn of a new era. By setting up their own platform, resellers can market the software to their customers, enabling the use of a portal to be more collaborative and productive.
Benefits of Workspace 365 include:
- Customers can access cloud, web-based and customer applications from one hybrid workspace.
- Accessibility of web applications through single sign-on.
- Creation of a cloud or hybrid workspace depending on user needs.
- Save costs on desktop licenses by offering cloud workspaces.
“Cloud is transforming how businesses collaborate and stay productive, and Workspace 365 enables businesses to enjoy its benefits while staying organized,” stated Jason Bystrak, Executive Director, North America, Ingram Micro Cloud. “We are excited to have Workspace 365 on the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, and enable our channel partners to deliver a powerful productivity platform to their customers.”
Ingram Micro resellers already activated on the Cloud Marketplace can immediately begin selling, activating, and provisioning Workspace 365 solutions today. For resellers who are interested but have yet to sign up, access can be granted by signing up for our channel program, Ingram Micro Cloud Elevate, where they will join thousands of other partners who are already provisioning, selling, and managing their cloud solutions with confidence and ease.
